Style and approach

My goal is to take photos that not only look beautiful but will have an air of warm, nostalgia, able to transport you back to these cherished moments for years to come. I also believe in a social media focused world that wedding photography should go beyond choosing your next profile picture  and  really strive to capture genuine, heartfelt moments that really matter and will mean even more to you in 20 years than they do today.

When it’s possible to art-direct shots I enjoy getting coverage that will make the most of the locations and the day. I tend to direct activity driven shots, rather than a day full of stiff posed images, but don't worry—I won't ask you to you to redo putting on your vail or shoes a half dozen time just for a slightly better angle.  Otherwise I try to keep a low profile and capture moments as candidly as possible. I totally get how strange it can feel to be the focus of a camera, so I strive to keep things relaxed and easy-going.

My life experiences in and out of the wedding industry have deeply influenced how I connect with the people and moments I photograph. I treat every wedding as if it were for my friends or a family member and capture the day with the same care and respect I'd hope for at my own children's weddings someday.
